8:00am 3:00pm Salary: £15 £ 17 per hour (dependent on experience) We are delighted to invite applications for the role of Deputy Manager at our nursery in Stanmore . This is a term-time only position and an excellent opportunity for a Level 5 qualified, high performing early years professional to join our Outstanding team . Working closely with the Nursery Manager and the wider team, the Deputy Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring that all children receive high-quality care and are supported through well-planned, engaging, and stimulating learning experiences , in line with the EYFS and Montessori curriculum .

Key Responsibilities Support the Manager in the day-to-day leadership and smooth running of the nursery Ensure safeguarding and welfare requirements are fully met at all times Act as a key person, building strong and trusting relationships with children and families Lead by example, supporting and mentoring staff to maintain high standards of practice Work in partnership with parents, carers, and external professionals Contribute to the ongoing development, quality improvement, and vision of the nursery

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Be organised, caring, dedicated, and flexible Have a genuine passion for child development and early years education Demonstrate extensive knowledge and confident application of the EYFS Have Montessori knowledge and a creative, child-centred approach to learning Hold a Level 5 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) Thrive in a leadership role that balances operational responsibility with hands-on practice
