About the Role

Finniescroft Farm, located near Lennoxtown, offers a supportive, therapeutic environment for children and young people with complex needs. As a Children’s Worker, you will provide high‑quality care in both residential and community settings.

• Deliver tailored activities and daily care to children with complex needs.
• Manage health and medication in accordance with care plans.
• Develop and review care plans as a Keyworker.
• Support families and record care details accurately.
• Assist children in accessing services and promote social inclusion.

• SVQ3 in Social Services (Children & Young People) or HNC level, or a commitment to achieving these qualifications.
• Experience working with children with disabilities and an understanding of child development.
• A genuine interest in supporting children with complex needs.
• Respect for the organisation’s ethos and ability to work within it.

Required membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and completion of necessary vetting checks. Registration with the Social Care Services (SSSC) is also mandatory, and you must ensure you meet all registration standards and criteria. All prospective employees must hold the right to work in the UK, as mandated by mandatory legal obligations.
