Are you a passionate Early Years professional looking to take the next step in your childcare career? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join a dedicated nursery team in Penrith.

As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing a nursery room, ensuring children receive the highest standards of care, learning, and development in line with the EYFS framework. You will support and motivate your team while creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a nursery room, ensuring high-quality care and education.
- Support, mentor, and develop nursery practitioners within the room.
- Ensure compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children's development.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to children's learning journeys.
- Level 3 (or above) qualification in a UK‑recognised Early Years qualification.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and commitment to child welfare.
- Previous leadership or senior nursery experience is desirable.
- Positive, enthusiastic, and child‑centred approach.
