About the Role

A welcoming nursery in Slough is seeking Qualified Nursery Staff to join their dedicated Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for passionate childcare professionals who are committed to providing outstanding care and education in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

The nursery offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with part-time staff working 3–5 days per week. All shifts are 8:00am – 6:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

* Support children aged 0–5 years with their learning, care, and development

* Deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where children can thrive

* Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and communication development

* Support daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, and nap times

* Observe, monitor, and record children's progress

* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

* Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or Supporting Teaching and Learning

* Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

* Good understanding of the EYFS framework

* Caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

* Right to Work in the UK

Desirable:

* CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 qualification

* Paediatric First Aid qualification

* Experience supporting children with additional needs

* Knowledge of safeguarding and child development
