Are you an experienced Early Years professional with a passion for supporting babies to thrive?A nursery we work closely with is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join their Baby Room team in LS11. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced childcare practitioner who is ready to take the next step in their career or further develop their leadership skills within a warm, nurturing, and supportive nursery environment.

What You'll Be Doing- Leading the day-to-day running of the Baby Room.
- Creating engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and wellbeing.
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers.
- Leading, motivating, and supporting room staff.
- Monitoring children's progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensuring compliance with EYFS requirements and nursery policies.
Essential
- Level 3 Childcare qualification or above.
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
- Experience leading a room or supervising a team.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for childcare and supporting children's development.
- Experience working specifically within a Baby Room environment.
- Confidence mentoring and developing team members.
- Experience contributing to inspections, quality improvement, or nursery projects.
You'll be a warm, caring, and nurturing childcare professional who can confidently lead a team while ensuring the highest standards of care for babies. You'll be organised, proactive, and committed to creating a positive environment where children, families, and colleagues feel supported and valued.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
