Nursery Practitioner

Are you a Nursery Practitioner looking to take your experience into a school setting?

Prospero Teaching is looking for experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners who are ready to make the move into Primary Schools, supporting children across Nursery and Reception.

This is a great opportunity to use your Early Years experience in a school environment while developing your skills and gaining valuable experience within EYFS.

The Role

• Supporting children across Nursery and Reception
• Delivering play-based learning and EYFS activities
• Supporting early phonics, communication and language
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting children with SEND and additional needs
• Helping children develop confidence, independence and social skills

What We're Looking For

• Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Practitioner
• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
• A nurturing, enthusiastic and reliable approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

September 2026

Hours:

Typically 8:30am3:30pm, term time
Roles:
Full-time, part-time, long-term & flexible supply
Pay:
Competitive daily rates dependent on experience and assignment
