THE EMPLOYER IS: MOURNE MOUNTAIN HOLIDAYS. We are looking for a Junior/Trainee Housekeeper to join our team. This role is an opportunity for individuals aiming to kickstart their career in the hospitality industry. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high cleanliness standards of our cottages, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable stay for our guests. Rostrevor Holidays is a family‑run business nestled in the heart of the scenic Mourne Mountains.
We offer 12 cosy, self‑catering cottages, catering to a diverse clientele seeking adventure, relaxation, and a peaceful retreat in the Irish countryside. Our commitment to personalised hospitality ensures a memorable experience for families, couples, solo travellers, and groups.
- Cleaning and preparing cottages for guest arrivals, including laundering linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising kitchens and bathrooms.
- Replenishing guest supplies and ensuring all amenities are in perfect condition.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly.
- Assisting in the inventory management of cleaning supplies and linen.
- Adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Providing occasional support to the team, enhancing the overall guest experience.
- No previous experience required, training will be provided.
- A keen eye for detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management skills and the ability to follow a schedule.

Job Start opportunity:
Working hours up to 25 hours per week, with flexible or reduced hours available upon approval by a Work Coach. Additional hours may be offered depending on availability. Discussion of hours should occur directly with the employer before starting employment. The job advert may end before the stated closing date if requested by the employer.
