Evening Housekeeping Assistant

Primary Job PurposeAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Evening Housekeeping Assistant to join the resort. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager and working as part of a small team, the successful candidate will have a flexible approach to work and will perform a variety of cleaning tasks across the resort to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained. Candidates will work well under pressure to ensure tasks are completed on time with a commitment to providing the best guest experience at all times.
Roles and Responsibilities- Responsible for the cleanliness throughout the hotel and guest bedrooms, corridors, and public areas including back‑of‑house areas.
- Enter and prepare the room for cleaning (stripping beds, emptying bins, collecting dirty bathroom towels).
- Ensure that cleaning meets the company standards.
- Replenish guest amenities as required.
- Respond to any guest requests.
- Report any maintenance issues within rooms.
- Replenish work trolleys and clean linen on a daily basis.
- Ensure cleaning is consistent in every room.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, including wearing and maintaining a clean uniform at all times.
- Follow all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook, including department‑specific procedures such as left‑luggage policy.
- Be aware of and follow all Health and Safety procedures.
- Good teamwork and can work well alone.
- Thrives on routine daily tasks.
- Ability to work to deadlines.

- High standards of presentation, organization and cleanliness.
