Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Feock

Nestled amongst the beautiful woodlands of Feock on the outskirts of Truro, The Punchbowl and Ladle is a vibrant, yet cosy pub – a place where everybody would like to spend their day off! Somewhere to pop in for an after‑work drink and snack at the bar; a space for families to enjoy quality time together over a relaxed Sunday roast;

a destination for walkers (and their dogs!) to enjoy a light lunch, or even just a mid‑morning coffee with friends.

Our traditional Cornish pub has a rich history dating back to the 15th century and has played a key part in the stories of travellers, mariners, and locals – both old and new. If these old walls could talk, they would tell tales of Cornish smugglers using the pub to store their contraband, and passing travellers from the nearby River Fal who needed a safe harbour for the night.

Today, we warmly welcome both locals and people visiting this beautiful area. Having undergone a recent refurbishment, The Punchbowl & Ladle has been transformed into a bright and vibrant space. Its modern renovation has been brilliantly balanced with traditional and honest decor, that preserves all of the original charm of the building and its history.

Part time opportunity! Do you want to work in a fun, fast‑paced environment as part of a talented team? Join us as one of our bar or waiting team and you’ll be joining passionate people who do much more than serve and pour; you’ll enjoy building relationships with our regulars whilst providing memorable experiences to delight our visitors.
