In your role as Housekeeping Attendant your primary task is to maintain our incredible facilities, keeping them clean and tidy, ensuring our exceptional standards are upheld. The Residential Services Department operates across the whole estate working collaboratively with colleagues in a variety of areas of the club.
You support preparation of the department’s equipment, cleaning products, supplies and linen, ensuring everything is kept organised in readiness for refreshing rooms on members and their guests’ departure days and the servicing days in between. People are our priority, maintaining team member areas of the castle with the same high standard of care and attention to detail as our guest spaces, all with warmth and care.
Responsibilities- Ensure cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of your assigned area, including suites, guest homes, team member spaces, dining halls and other guest spaces.
- Remove dust and debris using the correct cleaning materials for each task.
- Vacuum floors, corridors, stairs, bedrooms and bathrooms; clean surfaces, showers, baths, basins, toilets, kitchens, windows and garden furniture.
- Refresh and maintain suites throughout the day, including evening turn‑downs and restocking of items in bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Ensure guest areas are clean and welcoming, with front entrance swept, fires set for lighting, newspapers, magazines and fresh flowers available.
- Assist with deep cleaning of other areas within the operation as directed by management.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory, restocking and receiving of items to ensure smooth running of the residential services department.
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings and wider business meetings where necessary.
- Follow and accurately complete cleaning schedules and checklists for each area of the business you are involved with.
- Uphold exceptional standards while demonstrating passion and flare in the pursuit of service excellence.
- Ability to work under pressure to juggle competing priorities with minimum supervision.
- Adaptability to suit the profile of the business and ability to adjust working days and hours of work to meet business needs, including emergencies or busy seasons.
- Calm, confident and discreet, with a warm, casual style that allows genuine personality to shine through.
