Role Overview

The Estate Residential Services Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining our exceptional facilities, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and presented to the high standards synonymous with our club. The Residential Services team works across the entire estate, collaborating with colleagues from a variety of departments to create memorable experiences for our members and guests in their "home from home."

As part of this dedicated team, you will take great pride in the cleanliness, presentation, and upkeep of our back‑of‑house areas, including the welcome gates, offices, staff restaurant, colleague facilities, and recently refurbished village toilets, all of which are refreshed daily. You will also help maintain colleague areas within the castle to the same exceptional standard as our guest spaces, delivering your work with warmth, care, and attention to detail.

Keeping our incredible facilities clean and tidy requires a true one‑team approach. Working within the luxurious surroundings of our beautifully renovated 19th‑century castle, you'll play an important role in ensuring our members, guests, and colleagues enjoy an environment that is welcoming, comfortable, and impeccably maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring the sanitation, cleanliness and hygiene of your assigned area is achieved. The daily servicing of the welcome gates and security office, the compound offices housing business support teams; colleague spaces including the staff canteen, their bathrooms and changing facilities. As well as the recently renovated Kenmore Village public toilets.

The daily planning and preparing of our equipment, cleaning products, supplies and the linen that will be required for every home on both the departure and service days. As well as for each property and for every outlet within the estate.

Coordinating with the Housekeeping Attendants to arrange the appropriate delivery and collection times of linen, and rubbish, from each home across the estate. Collecting soiled linen; preparing and delivering the items to our laundry.

Assist with keeping our incredible sport, spa, and leisure facilities immaculately clean and refreshed and maintaining our state‑of‑the‑art gym and fitness equipment. People are our priority, supporting the management team with the deep cleaning of an area within the operation as and when required and as directed.

Uphold our exceptional standards while demonstrating passion and flare in the pursuit of service excellence. We respect people, places, and culture and as an Ambassador of Taymouth Castle – spokesperson, advocate, and supporter. Actively involved in the day‑to‑day operation through observance, collaborating proactively with team members across our wide range of facilities. Contribute at departmental and the wider business meetings where necessary.

Can be based within the castle or at various locations throughout the estate. Although much of your time will be spent indoors, some time may be spent outdoors. This role can involve long periods of standing, walking and bending.

Qualifications & Skills

Deliver refined, personalised, anticipatory service with a vision for quality and excellence. Attention to detail with a warm, casual style letting your genuine personality shine through. Calm, confident and discreet, taking huge pride in your presentation. Exemplary time management and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure to juggle competing priorities with minimum supervision. Adapt accordingly to suit the profile of the business. Ability to adjust working days and hours of work to meet business needs, as and when required and during emergencies or busy seasons.

Full UK driving licence – You may be required to travel between locations. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
