• Deep cleaning and turnover of hides after check-out: make beds, change linens, replenish toiletries, ensure power showers work, tidy decks.
• Carry supplies up paths, often uphill, moving between hides rather than hotel corridors; stamina and physical fitness essential.
• Maintain high standard of cleanliness in guest areas and Bracken facilities (restaurants, sauna, lounges, etc.).
• Spot‑check hides for damages, report issues and perform basic fixes.
• Deal with weather: dry wet hide entrances, manage muddy footprints, keep interiors cozy after storms.
• Ensure supplies (linens, cleaning chemicals, toiletries) are stocked and stored safely.
• Collaborate with front‑of‑house and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, especially in lodges, cabins, outdoors, or remote sites.
• Physically fit and able to walk up slopes, carry linen and supplies over paths, work in wet, windy, or cold conditions.
• Attention to detail: clean lines, fresh bedding, polished surfaces, good presentation in challenging environments.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, able to move between hides independently and manage time wisely.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing weather and guest flow.
• Friendly, helpful and guest‑focused, contributing to first impressions and lasting impressions.

45 luxury hides spread over 52 acres of wild hillside overlooking Loch Portree & the Sound of Raasay. Timber‑framed hides with underfloor heating, Harris Tweed headboards, power showers, private decking, and cosy retreats. Central building houses reception, Am Braigh restaurant & whisky bar, sauna, plunge pool, Estonian saunas & wellness features. Paths connect cabins and are scenic but hilly; service areas outdoors, weather is part of the experience.
