Pass Manager/BOH Manager - Restaurants and Hospitality - Midlands
Location: Saltley
This isn't your typical kitchen operation, and it's certainly not your typical back of house environment. Think of it as a high-energy, world-class hospitality operation set within some of the UK's most iconic sporting and entertainment venues. Whether it's matchday at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium or Brentford FC, a sold‑out concert at The O2, international rugby at Twickenham, or premium hospitality at Kia Oval, we create exceptional guest experiences in the heart of the action.
While guests see the finished experience, it's our back‑of‑house teams that make it possible. From operational readiness to stock control, preparation support and service coordination, every detail matters.
As a Back of House Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and coordinating kitchen operation across matchdays and major events. Working closely with chefs, logistics teams, porters, runners and hospitality colleagues, you'll ensure our back‑of‑house operation remains organised, compliant and service‑ready from first delivery to final close‑down. No matter the event, you'll be the driving force behind a seamless operation, ensuring our teams have everything they need to deliver a world‑class guest experience.
We're looking for a leader. Someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, takes pride in operational excellence and leads with calm authority when the pressure is on. You understand that exceptional hospitality starts behind the scenes and you have the organisation, attention to detail and leadership skills to ensure every event is delivered to the highest possible standard.
Previous experience within kitchen operations, catering environments or back‑of‑house hospitality roles, ideally within high‑volume or event‑based settings.
Knowledge – You possess a strong understanding of food hygiene, health & safety standards and back‑of‑house operational procedures within high‑volume catering environments. Just as importantly, you have a genuine passion for food and an exceptional eye for detail. As the final checkpoint before dishes leave the pass, you take ownership of food quality, presentation, consistency and accuracy, ensuring every plate reflects the exceptional standards our guests expect from Platinum.
Temperament – You are calm under pressure, highly organised and able to maintain focus in fast‑paced, high‑demand environments.
Communication – You work effectively as part of a wider team, communicating clearly and confidently with chefs, porters, runners and front‑of‑house colleagues to support smooth service delivery.
Flexibility – Flexibility to work across a calendar of major sporting fixtures, concerts, exhibitions and large‑scale events throughout the year, including evenings, weekends and key event dates.
