Responsibilities may include some of the following:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the bar to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
  • Monitor stock levels, order stock, and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Control costs by minimising waste and preventing stock loss.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and responsible alcohol service policies.
  • Handle cash management, reconcile tills, and oversee end‑of‑day financial reporting.
  • Develop and update drink menus, including seasonal cocktails and promotional offerings.
  • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation throughout the bar.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Organise and oversee special events, private functions, and promotional activities.
  • Analyse sales reports and use performance data to improve operations and customer satisfaction.
Skills/Qualities

Required:
  • Experience is preferred in a similar bar manager postition
  • Passion and a genuine interest in hospitality
  • Natural enthusiasm when working within a team and with customers
  • Guest focused
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong communication

    Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Confident working independently
  • Ability to follow instructions
