Leisure Club Assistant Manager Seamill Hydro Hotel and Resort Full Time
We're looking for an enthusiastic Leisure Club Assistant Manager to join the team at Seamill Hydro Hotel. This is an exciting time to join following the recent opening of our newly renovated Hydro Health Club Gym, featuring state-of-the-art Technogym equipment. You ll play a key role in the day-to-day management of our leisure facilities, leading the team to deliver an exceptional experience for both hotel guests and members.

What You ll Be Doing:- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the Leisure Club, including wet and dry facilities.
- Supervising, motivating, and developing the leisure team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Providing ongoing coaching, training, and support to team members.
- Ensuring all team members hold the appropriate qualifications for the services provided.
- Promoting memberships and identifying opportunities to maximise the use of the Leisure Club.
- Managing membership enquiries, payments, direct debits, cancellations, and associated administration.
- Monitoring departmental performance, including staffing levels, wage costs, revenue generation, stock control, and ordering.
- Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance throughout the leisure facilities.
- Ensuring full compliance with health and safety legislation, including risk assessments, COSHH, PSOP, and other legal requirements.
- Building strong working relationships with colleagues across the hotel to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
- Previous experience working within a leisure club is essential, with hotel experience advantageous.
- Previous supervisory or management experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Relevant leisure industry and plant room qualifications.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Good knowledge of health and safety legislation and leisure club compliance.
- Availability for a range of shifts, including evening and weekends.
