ABode Canterbury is a stylish, four AA star 72‑bedroom boutique hotel on Canterbury High Street, which houses our own restaurant brand, Brasserie ABode. For the commuters, Canterbury East and West train stations are just a few minutes’ walk away.
We pay our team service charge each month. This service charge all goes into one pot, and 100% of that service charge is then shared amongst all the team at the hotel – every penny received is paid out to the team. Service charge can be in the region of £115 a month (around £1,375 per year) over and above base pay for a full‑time employee.

Key responsibilities- Hosting our guests from check‑in to check‑out, which could include booking tables, advising on local hot spots, or just having a chat.
- Building close relationships across all teams – most of the time you’ll spend a lot of your life at work and our colleagues become friends.
- Ensuring all our guests have a memorable experience.
- Collaborating across departments – we will all muck in from time to time, helping each other.
