Key Responsibilities

You'll oversee front desk and residential operations, ensuring services run smoothly across different shifts. You'll:

Lead front desk services across daytime, evening and overnight teams
Manage staffing, rotas, handovers and service standards
Oversee accommodation bookings, arrivals, departures and room access
Line manage and develop team members
Handle complaints, operational issues and incident escalation
Work with other departments to coordinate accommodation and campus services
Maintain accurate records, reports and financial information
Identify opportunities to improve services and customer experiences

What we're looking for

You'll bring:

Significant experience in front-of-house, hospitality, accommodation or a similar operational setting
Strong management experience
Experience managing customer-facing teams across different shifts
Strong leadership, organisation and decision-making skills
Confidence handling complaints and unexpected situations
Excellent communication, IT and administrative skills
Good numerical skills and attention to detail
An understanding of confidentiality, health and safety, safeguarding and security
A relevant qualification or equivalent experience

Experience in higher education, residential services or a 24-hour operation would be advantageous.
