Substation Civils Operative (Groundworks)

Start Date: 18th February 2026
Hours: 45 hours per week (07:30 - 17:00)

About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Civils Operatives for a 3-month substation project in Monks Fryston. The role is focused on groundworks and ducting installation within an operational substation environment.

Key Duties:

Installation of ducting systems associated with high voltage cabling
General groundworks including excavation, back filling, and reinstatement
Safe operation of Forward Tipping Dumper and Roller
Working to client specifications and strict site safety procedures

Essential Requirements:

EUSR (Energy & Utility Skills Register) - Substsation Persons
CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper / Roller / 360 Excavator
Proven groundworks / civils experience (substation experience preferred)
Own PPE (Hard hat, steel toe boots, hi-vis, gloves)
Willing and able to work 07:30 - 17:00
