This is a full-time, on-site role for a Painter and Decorator based in Rosewell. The Painter and Decorator will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, applying paint, varnishes, and wallpapers with precision, and ensuring clean and professional finishes. Tasks will also include mixing paints, selecting and applying decorative finishes, and maintaining tools and equipment. Collaboration with team members and adherence to safety regulations are integral to this role.

• Proficiency in painting techniques, including surface preparation, paint mixing, and application
• Experience with decorative finishes such as varnishing, wallpaper hanging, and intricate detailing
• Knowledge of safe working practices and the ability to comply with health and safety standards
• Attention to detail, excellent time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
• Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are an advantage
• Experience in construction or similar industries is desirable
