The Role

We're looking for a skilled Sika Trocal Roofing Lead to join our team, carrying out installation, maintenance, and repair of Sika Trocal single-ply roofing systems across multiple commercial sites in Birmingham.

Day-to-day you'll be:

• Installing Sika Trocal single-ply membranes, including detailing and upstands
• Preparing roof areas with vapour control layers, insulation, and fixings
• Carrying out hot-air welding and seam testing to Sika Trocal standards
• Ensuring all installations meet manufacturer guidelines and project specs
• Inspecting completed works for quality assurance and compliance
• Working collaboratively with other trades and site management
• Maintaining safe working practices including PPE and fall protection
• Building great relationships with clients

Working Hours: The role will include working 45 hours per week.

What You'll Need

Essential:

• Full UK Driving License
• Proven experience installing Sika Trocal or similar single-ply roofing systems
• Skilled in hot-air welding and membrane detailing
• Ability to read and interpret roofing drawings and specifications
• Ability to work from heights and use access equipment safely
• Solid understanding of power and hand tools
• Great communication skills and can-do attitude
• Excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable using basic IT (email, mobile apps, Excel, Outlook, Word)

Desirable:

Sika Trocal manufacturer training/accreditation

NVQ Level 3 in Roofing (or equivalent)

CSCS Card, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Height

SMSTS/SSSTS, IPAF, PASMA, UKPIA/SPA Passport
