Role Overview
Oversee all daily activities for a selection of engineers and sub-contractors. This role will also require you to conduct individual site surveys in clients' properties to ascertain the scope of works required to install or upgrade central heating systems in these dwellings.
These surveys will enable the Installation department to complete planned work and hit required operational and customer service performance targets, Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental systems, company procedures, and meet legislation requirements.
Carry out a survey for the replacement appliance/upgrade of the heating system in clients' dwellings to current regulations.
Complete accurately a full list of materials that will be required to complete each installation, allocate sufficient time to complete this work.
Arrange with the resident an installation date and book this on‑site on the system and scheduler.
Be aware of procedures and identify any risks associated with arranged surveys, e.g. asbestos / hazardous materials on site, manual handling and working at height legislation etc.
Provide clear details on potential issues which may affect an arranged installation e.g. scaffold requirements, parking restrictions etc.
Deal with all issues which may arise from your team of engineers, any problems which you cannot resolve must be reported immediately to your Installation Supervisor.
Communicate with your team of engineers daily to resolve potential problems to ensure installation is completed within agreed time frames.
Quality control and test the operation of the installation and book any remedial works which may be required.
Provide accurate reports to your Installation Supervisor on a weekly and monthly basis.
Monitor and assess the performance of the team to achieve the greatest efficiency and outputs.
Ensure Health & Safety & Environmental procedures and standards are adhered to.
Ensuring all certification and documentation is completed accurately.
To complete this role you must be ACS qualified within domestic gas, alongside hold a valid UK Driving License.
