Overview
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic –
Location:
Hastings. Salary: £50,000-£56,000 + OT.
Shifts:
Monday to Friday, Day shift (No Weekends).
We are seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic for an industry leading client in Hastings. Our client is well respected in the HGV industry with strong progression opportunities for their team. Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Perform inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs on various HGV/Trailers.
- Use your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional service delivery.
- Keep accurate records of work carried out and parts used, maintaining thorough documentation.
- NVQ Level 3 (will also consider time served applicants).
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and software
- Strong problem-solving skills
