Electrician

We're hiring for an Electrician to join a specialist engineering business based in New Mills, working on the installation, testing and fault‑finding of industrial machinery and 3‑phase systems across a range of sites.

• £18 – £20.08 per hour
• Annual bonus of up to £5,000
• Mon – Fri | 45‑hour week | flexihours
• Overtime paid at 1.5x (2x on Sundays)
• 20 days holiday + banks (rising with service)
• Standard pension scheme
• Overnight allowance (£40 per night when staying away)
• Ongoing training and development

• Installing and wiring industrial machinery and equipment
• Working with 3‑phase systems, containment and armoured cabling
• Completing testing, inspection and fault‑finding on machinery
• Installing lighting and power within industrial environments
• Reading and working from technical drawings and schematics
• Supporting installation, upgrades and modifications on‑site
• Working across multiple projects (mainly North West, occasional travel)

• Proven experience working on machinery or plant equipment (not essential)
• A background in electrical installations
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Strong understanding of 3‑phase systems and site work
• Full UK driving licence
• City & Guilds 2391 Test & Inspection qualification (not essential)
