HGV Technician – Llandow
Our client, a leading provider in the UK’s supercar, movie car, and classic car driving experience industry, is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join their reputable workshop in Llandow. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced heavy‑vehicle technicians to work in a unique environment with excellent earning potential.
Benefits- Competitive starting salary up to £55,000 per annum
- 4.5‑day working week:
Monday to Thursday 7:30 am‑5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am‑12:00 pm - 28 days annual leave, with bank holidays (which are working days) available for holiday booking

- Perform all scheduled service, maintenance, and repairs of the highest quality, adhering to manufacturer time schedules
- Provide professional technical support to colleagues, including diagnostics and repairs of malfunctions
- Maintain accurate documentation of diagnosis, repairs, safety inspections, and service activities
- Support the team with technical consultancy and problem‑solving
- Ensure adherence to all relevant policies, safety procedures, and industry standards
- Maintain the company’s fleet to the highest operational standards
- Carry out comprehensive diagnostics and repairs, supporting the overall efficiency of workshop operations
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or extensive relevant experience
- Several years’ post‑qualification experience preferred
- Valid Class 1 licence and Tacho card are mandatory
- ADR certification and CPC qualification are desirable
- Practical experience in heavy vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
- A proactive, committed team player capable of producing high‑quality work under pressure
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities and attention to detail
