Handyman​/MEWP Operator

Teamforce Labour currently seeking a reliable and experienced Handyman / MEWP Operator to join our team on a project in Under River, Kent. This is a dual‑role position requiring an IPAF‑qualified operative who can not only safely operate a MEWP but also undertake a variety of general maintenance and site support tasks. This role would suit a practical, hands‑on individual with a strong background in general building maintenance, repairs, and working at height.

• Safely operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) in accordance with IPAF regulations and site procedures.
• Carry out minor decoration and making‑good works.
• Complete basic pointing and masonry repairs.
• Remove redundant services and associated fixtures.
• Replace damaged or missing roof tiles.
• Clean and clear gutters, downpipes, and roof areas.
• Assist skilled tradespeople by providing access and support from the MEWP.
• Perform general handyman duties as required across the project.
• Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean and organised working area.
• Adhere to all site health and safety requirements.

• Valid IPAF Licence (3a/3b minimum).
• Previous experience operating MEWPs on construction or maintenance projects.
• Proven handyman or multi‑trade experience.
• Comfortable working at height.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CSCS card preferred.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.
