Location: Swindon

Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy and well-established dealership workshop in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Automotive Mechanic looking for a stable Monday to Friday position with bonus earning potential and a positive working environment.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard
  • Diagnose faults and undertake electrical and mechanical repair work
  • Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work requirements
  • Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and manufacturer‑scheduled servicing
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards
  • Accurately complete job cards, service records and workshop documentation
  • Work effectively as part of a team to maintain workshop productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure all vehicles are repaired and maintained safely and correctly
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Mechanic
  • Experience working within a dealership, independent garage or automotive workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities
  • Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship
  • Full UK Driving Licence
