VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
Basic Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus OTE: £38,000
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:15am - 5:15pm
No Weekends

Our client is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy and well-established dealership workshop in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Automotive Mechanic looking for a stable Monday to Friday position with bonus earning potential and a positive working environment.
The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, fault finding and repair work to manufacturer standards whilst ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.

- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard
- Diagnose faults and undertake electrical and mechanical repair work
- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work requirements
- Carry out routine maintenance, inspections and manufacturer-scheduled servicing
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in line with manufacturer standards
- Accurately complete job cards, service records and workshop documentation
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain workshop productivity and efficiency
- Ensure all vehicles are repaired and maintained safely and correctly
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Mechanic
- Experience working within a dealership, independent garage or automotive workshop environment
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities
- Good mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Full UK Driving Licence
