Dual Fuel Commercial Metering Engineer

Compensation: £43,260 per year

We are seeking a Dual Fuel Engineer to deliver smart metering solutions across the UK. The role involves installing, commissioning, testing and maintaining meter systems while ensuring high safety and customer standards.

• Install, exchange, commission, remove, and maintain metering systems, associated equipment, and communication systems.
• Handle customer interactions professionally, reflecting company values during every visit.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, metering standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain ownership of stock, tools, and company vehicle.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team and business goals.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and mentoring opportunities.
• Work a rotating Monday‑Friday shift pattern between 6 am and 8 pm.
• Elite Engineers only: perform friendly debt‑resolution visits, attend warrants as on‑site engineer, and act as Warrants Officer (never solo).
• Non‑Elite Dual Fuel Engineers: focus solely on technical metering work, no warrants or debt visits.

• Experienced Smart Metering Dual Fuel Engineer.

  Qualifications:
  
  CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent).
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent).
• UK Driving Licence.
• Pass a DBS check.
• No prior commercial experience required.
