Labourer​/Site Operative

Our client is looking for a Labourer / General Operative / Site Operative with a CSCS card to join them on a temporary to permanent basis. You will be reliable and hardworking, and flexible to do whatever work is required of you.

The role will involve travelling to properties (commercial or residential) across the UK to remove and rip out property contents, rubble, and fittings, so that a new property fit out can be installed. You will go out to various sites with the team, travel around the UK is within the above working hours, and no overnight stays. Current site work is based at a commercial site in Leeds city centre.

Once you have shown you can work hard and have passed probation, they have a training and progression path where they will upskill and grow you within a relevant trade (e.g. Building, Fit Outs, Plumbing, Gas, anything property related).

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Hours of work: 7.00am 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

• You can start work immediately (next day).
• You do not have any pre-booked holidays coming up soon.
• You have a CSCS card.
• You are used to heavy lifting, and being on your feet for long periods of time (the job will be quite physically demanding).
• You are willing to carry out any duties as instructed by your Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Hands on work, working individually and with others to remove rubble, fittings, furniture and others to be put into skips.
• Any other duties as required by your Manager.

This role would suit someone with experience of working as a Construction Worker / General Operator / Demolition Operative / Labouring / Grounds Worker / Groundsman / similar hands on role.
