You will be responsible for operating and maintaining crushing and screening plant machinery, ensuring the efficient processing of materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining crushing and screening plant machinery, ensuring the efficient processing of materials while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

• Operating mobile crushing and screening plant safely and efficiently
• Processing recycled and quarried materials to specified sizes and quality standards
• Monitoring crusher performance and adjusting settings to maximise productivity
• Carrying out daily pre-start plant inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Identifying and reporting faults, defects, and maintenance requirements
• Clearing blockages and carrying out basic maintenance in accordance with safe systems of work
• Loading crushers and managing stockpiles using excavators or loading shovels where qualified
• Maintaining safe working areas around crushing operations
• Complying with all health, safety, environmental, and site procedures
• Keeping plant, machinery, and work areas clean and organised
• Working effectively with site management and other operatives to achieve production targets

• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Crusher Operator qualification or relevant crushing and screening experience
• Experience operating mobile crushing and screening equipment in a construction, quarrying, recycling, or aggregates environment
• Strong understanding of plant safety procedures and risk awareness
• Ability to carry out daily inspections and basic maintenance tasks
• Safety Critical Medical (site specific)
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with other trades
• Right to work in the UK

• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Excavator
• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Loading Shovel
• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Forward Tipping Dumper
• CPCS / NPORS (CSCS-affiliated) Ride-On Roller
• Experience processing recycled aggregates and demolition materials
• Mobile Screener qualification or experience
• 5+ years of plant operating experience
• Quarry Passport, MPQC, or related industry certification

To comply with client requirements, we can only accept NPORS cards that are CSCS-affiliated and carry the CSCS hologram. If you do not currently meet this requirement, please still get in touch. We are happy to guide you through the transfer process.
