Rate: £350 £ 500 per day (Self-Employed/CIS)

Join a Growing Renewable Energy Team We're looking for experienced Solar PV Electricians to join a busy installation team delivering high-quality domestic and social housing solar PV installations across Swindon and the surrounding areas.
With consistent work available and excellent day rates, this is a fantastic opportunity for skilled electricians looking for long-term renewable energy projects. Day rates of £350 £ 500 are in line with current subcontract opportunities in the sector.
What You'll Be Doing Installing domestic Solar PV systems
Installing and commissioning battery storage systems
AC & DC electrical connections
Inverter installation and commissioning
Consumer unit upgrades where required
Testing and inspection of completed installations
Fault finding and rectification
Completing installations in accordance with BS7671 and MCS standards
Working closely with roofing and installation teams
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Requirements NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Inspection & Testing Qualification (2391 or equivalent preferred)
ECS/JIB Gold Card
Previous Solar PV installation experience
Full UK Driving Licence
Own tools and transport
Desirable Solar PV Qualification (City & Guilds / BPEC)
Battery storage installation experience
MCS experience
G98/G99 commissioning knowledge
Experience working on domestic renewable energy projects
