Experienced Engine Fitter / Vehicle Technician Opportunity in Sunbury

Our client, a reputable and long-established independent garage near Sunbury-on-Thames, is seeking an experienced Engine Fitter / Vehicle Technician to join their close-knit team. The successful Vehicle Engine Technician will have a proven background in engine work, clutch fitting, cambelt replacements, and welding, with a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Benefits:

- Up to £40,000 salary, depending on experience
- Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5.30pm, with no weekend working

Duties:

- Carrying out servicing and repair checks on various vehicle makes and models
- Diagnosing faults accurately and efficiently
- Fitting engines, clutches, cambelts, and performing welding tasks
- Stripping and rebuilding engines as required
- Completing work within stipulated time frames and to company standards
- Maintaining a professional image and delivering quality customer service

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Engine Fitter / Vehicle Technician in an independent garage or main dealer environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Competent in engine work, timing belts, clutches, and welding
- Full qualification as a technician preferred; time-served Vehicle Engine Technicians considered
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Motivated individual eager to develop their technical skills
