Monday-Friday | 06:00-14:30
£16.81 per hour
Late Shift:
Monday-Friday | 14:00-22:00
£16.81 per hour + £21.20 shift allowance per shift
Night Shift:
Tuesday-Friday | 21:00-07:00
£19.32 per hour + £18.75 shift allowance per shift

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Technician
, you will:
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and trailer-related faults using modern equipment
- Complete inspections and preventative maintenance
- Carry out repairs in line with DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Assist with breakdown repairs when required
- Complete accurate job cards, warranty claims and workshop paperwork
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
- Support vehicle reliability and customer uptime
To be considered for this HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Trailer Technician role, you will need:
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Proven experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Trailer Technician
- Experience carrying out repairs, servicing and diagnostics on heavy vehicles
- Ability to identify worn and faulty components to DVSA standards
- Full UK driving licence
- IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
