People Solutions are currently recruiting for a  Maintenance Technician  to join our well-established client based in  Islip  on a full-time basis.

This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a  Maintenance Technician ,  Maintenance Engineer  or  Facilities Technician .
Rates of Pay:
£36,145 per annum
Shift Pattern:
As a  Maintenance Technician , you will work:
Monday to Friday
08:00 - 16:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a  Maintenance Technician  are:
Support the depot and other sites by ensuring that the site is safe and efficient, by being reactive and proactive to the tasks that need to be completed
Undertake various planned preventative maintenance activities and weekly testing on a daily basis
Complete sprinkler testing, racking inspections and repairs, generator testing, emergency lighting testing and caddy car servicing
Complete shower/Legionella testing
Undertake repairs as and when required through job requests from a number of stakeholders
Prioritise system faults
Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times
Ensure quality of output at all times
Accurately record all work undertaken
Essential

Skills:

To be successful as a  Maintenance Technician , you will need:
Full driving licence
ONC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Previous experience of maintenance in a warehouse
A working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic technical manuals and drawings
Basic understanding of control systems and techniques
Experience working at height
Experience carrying out racking inspections and repairs
PC literacy
Understanding of preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Training:
Ongoing development and support
