Working Supervisor – Fire stopping | Hinkley Point C
Location:
Hinkley Point, Bridgwater
Start: ASAP
Duration:
Approx. 12 months, with potential for extension
Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 06:00–18:30
Friday: 06:00–15:00
Pay: £28-£30 per hour CIS
Positions: 2 Working Supervisors
Red Sky Personnel are currently recruiting Working Supervisors for a long-term fire stopping project at Hinkley Point
C.
This is a hands-on working supervisor role, requiring you to oversee fire stopping works on site while also carrying out work alongside the team.
Duties
Supervising and carrying out standard fire stopping works
Leading a team of fire stoppers on site
Ensuring works are completed to the required specification and quality standards
Monitoring productivity and allocating daily tasks
Ensuring all operatives are working safely and in accordance with site procedures
Liaising with site management and other trades
Completing relevant site documentation and quality records
Ensuring fire stopping installations meet project requirements
Supporting the team with technical and practical fire stopping requirements
Requirements
Hinkley Point C BPSS clearance required
Proven experience working in fire stopping / passive fire protection
Previous experience as a Working Supervisor / Chargehand / Fire stopping Supervisor
NVQ Level 2 Passive Fire Protection or NVQ Level 3
SSSTS
ILM Level 3 Award qualification for Blue Hat Supervisors
IPAF 3A & 3B or PASMA – preferably at least one
Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and installation
Ability to lead a team while remaining hands-on with the work
Good communication and organisational skills
