Handyperson / Multi-Trade Operative Central London
Location: Central London
Hours: 8am-5pm, 8 hours paid
Duration: Temporary / Ongoing

We are currently looking for experienced Handyperson / Multi-Trade Operatives to work across various construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects in Central London.

This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is practical, reliable and confident carrying out a range of general building, repair, maintenance and finishing works.

The Role

Typical duties may include:

• General handyman and multi-trade works
• Minor building works and repairs
• Basic carpentry and joinery
• Door, lock, hinge and ironmongery adjustments
• General fixing, drilling and installation works
• Hanging and adjusting doors
• Basic painting and decorating
• Patching, filling and making-good
• Silicone and sealant works
• Repairing walls, ceilings and other surfaces
• Installing access panels and service openings
• Snagging and remedial works
• General maintenance tasks
• Assembling and fitting fixtures, fittings and furniture
• Assisting skilled trades where required
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Handyperson, Multi-Trade Operative, Maintenance Operative or General Builder with a good range of practical skills and own tools.

You should be:

• Experienced in general building, refurbishment or maintenance
• Confident using hand and power tools
• Competent with basic carpentry, decorating, fixing and making-good
• Able to work independently and use your own initiative
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Flexible and comfortable carrying out a variety of tasks
• Safety-conscious and able to work effectively as part of a site team
• CSCS card essential.
