Salary:  ?£32,338 to £35,475 depending on qualifications held , plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: ? Full Time (37 Hours) , Monday  Friday 8am-4pm. Once fully trained you will join a standby rota (currently 1 in 6 weeks) which will attract additional payments for standby duties and call outs.

What will I be doing in this role?
We're looking for a practical and technically minded  Technology Installation & Maintenance Electrician  to join our team in Cornwall.
This is a hands-on field-based role where you'll install, connect, maintain and fault-find a range of technology and infrastructure equipment across Cornwall.

You'll work with equipment including CCTV and ANPR cameras, rising bollards, Highways pumps and other electronic technology, helping to make sure it's installed correctly, connected safely and kept operational.
And because our equipment is used in a wide range of environments, no two days will necessarily look the same. You could be working outdoors, at customer sites or within other operational environments across Cornwall.

In a typical day, you could expect to be;
Installing and mounting CCTV, ANPR cameras and other technology equipment.

Running, terminating and connecting cables and associated equipment.

Connecting cameras and equipment to power and network infrastructure

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.

Fault-finding and diagnosing issues with equipment, cabling, power and network connections.

Replacing, repairing or adjusting equipment where required.

Carrying out testing and basic commissioning to make sure equipment is installed and operating correctly.

Working from installation drawings, technical instructions and planned maintenance schedules.

Using access equipment and working at height where required.

Completing accurate records of work carried out and reporting any further issues or repairs required.

Working safely at a variety of locations across Cornwall and representing Enerveo professionally when working with customers and other site teams.

What do I need to be successful in the role?
We're looking for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable working with technology.
You will have;
You are a qualified Electrician with a NVQ Level 3 and AM2 or equivalent Qualification

To achieve the higher salary, you must hold a City and Guilds 2391 (Inspect and Test) qualification

Good practical knowledge of electrical and/or electronic systems, cabling and connections.

Experience fault-finding and diagnosing technical issues.

The ability to read and follow technical drawings, instructions and installation plans.

A methodical approach and good attention to detail. Getting the installation right first time matters.

The ability to work independently, manage your workload and solve problems on site.
