We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced LCV/Van Technician to join a reputable dealership in Hereford. Duties:
Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repair of light commercial vehicles, primarily vans
Work within franchise standards to ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance
Accurately identify faults and report findings to the Service Manager
Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality procedures
Maintain a high standard of workmanship in a busy workshop environment
Support team objectives in meeting repair and service targets
Keep detailed records of work carried out and parts used
Maintain tools and work environment to company standards
Requirements:
Minimum IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
One to two years' practical experience as a Vehicle Technician preferred
Own set of tools suitable for light commercial vehicle repairs
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Strong commitment to quality and teamwork
Ability to produce high-quality workmanship under pressure
MOT Smart Card advantageous but not essential
Experience with van or light commercial vehicle repairs is beneficial but not a must
