PSV - HGV Mechanic

Shrewsbury
Salary Basic: £52,000 per annum
About the RoleVenatu Automotive is partnering with our client in the Shrewsbury area to recruit a permanent PSV Mechanic/Fitter. We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Fitter to join our client.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a modern and varied fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Routine maintenance and repair of PSV/HGV vehicles
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs
- Working in both a depot environment and responding to breakdowns on the road
- Ensuring high standards of engineering maintenance
- Guaranteed 38 hours per week
- Working Monday to Friday
- 1 in 2 Saturday
Experience in heavy vehicle maintenance (bus, HGV/LGV, truck
Ideally qualified for one of the following:
- PCV or HGV City & Guilds
- BTEC
- NVQ Level 3 Engineering in HGV or PSV
- Time Served
