the birmingham based workshop is easily commutable from surrounding towns & cities including coventry, sutton coldfield, solihull, walsall, smethwick, west bromwich, halesowen, bromsgrove, nuneaton and tamworth and redditch.
for the mechanical pump technician role, we are searching for individuals who possess:
- ideal not essential: formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (apprenticeship, nvq level 3, city & guilds, hnc, hnd, btec or similar)
- a strong level of experience working in a similar role, such as maintenance fitter, service engineer, mechanical technician etc.
- strong knowledge and level of experience spent working with rotating equipment/machinery - ideally pumps but we will consider candidates who are well versed in gearboxes, turbines, compressors, valves, fan systems or generators
- regular day shifts working 40 hours per week
- monday to thursday - 07:00
-to 15:45 - friday - 07:00 to 14:30
- starting salary: up to £42,588.00 (£21.00 per hour) depending on experience
- holiday entitlement: 33 days including public holidays
- annual bonus up to £1,700.00 per annum - subject to company performance
