Salary: £16.40 per hour

Guaranteed 39 hours per week

Overtime:
Time and a half, with double time for weekend working

Based in Hull, we have built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality work across a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial projects.

Due to continued work and growth, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Painter & Decorator to join our established team.

This is a varied position where no two projects are necessarily the same.

You will work across Hull and the surrounding areas on a range of high-quality painting and decorating projects, including domestic, commercial and industrial work.

We also undertake projects nationally, so there will occasionally be a requirement to work away from home.

Where overnight stays are required,
accommodation will be provided
.

Typical duties will include:

• Preparing surfaces ready for painting and decorating
• Carrying out high-quality internal and external painting
• Applying a range of finishes to the required standard
• Working across domestic, commercial and industrial environments
• Ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Maintaining a clean and professional working environment
• Working effectively as part of an experienced team
• Travelling to sites when required

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their trade and wants to become part of a long-established business.

You will need:

• Previous professional painting and decorating experience
• A valid CSCS Card
• A full UK driving licence
• A good standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliability and excellent timekeepingA professional approach when working on customers’ premises
• Flexibility to occasionally travel and work away from home
• A genuine interest in painting and decorating and producing quality work
