The CompanyInteraction Technical isworking in partnership with a well-established material handling business that hasbeen supporting customers across Kent. The company supplies,services, and maintains forklift trucks and material handling equipment for customers acrossthe agricultural, storage, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.
Due to continued growth, they arenow looking torecruit a Forklift Truck Engineer tojoin their experiencedserviceteam.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Initially based withinthe Cranbrookworkshop, you willwork alongside experienced engineers to familiarise yourself with the company's equipment, processes, and team. Oncefully trained, youwill become amobile service engineer, visiting customer sites throughout the localarea to carryout repairs and maintenance.
Key responsibilities- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining new andused forklift trucksandmaterial handling equipment
- Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on the company's rental fleet
- Servicing and repairing customers' own equipmentbothin the workshop and on-site
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Completing service documentation accurately using the company's PDA system
- Delivering excellent customer service while working independently on customer sites
- Maintaining a safeand organised working environment
- NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Mechanical Engineering,Plant Maintenance, ora related discipline
- Previous experience workingon forklift trucks, plant, agricultural, HGV, or similar equipment
- Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical fault-finding skills
- PUWER andLOLER qualifications (desirable)
- Thorough Examination(TE) certification (desirable)
- Safety-conscious with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated witha strong quality focus and attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
