To make you aware of the exciting changes happening across our Mobile teams. This position will be moving across to our new location in Brentwood in the near future. Are you a skilled mechanic looking for a role that offers more independence, variety and the opportunity to take your expertise directly to customers? On-target earnings up to £35,838.72, comprising a base salary of £33,038.72 and a monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £2,800 per year.

The role offers a 44-hour week, working 8am - 6pm shifts over 5 days, including 1 in 2 weekends. Join Halfords as a Mobile Vehicle Technician and become part of our growing Mobile Expert team, delivering workshop-quality servicing, maintenance and repair work at customers' homes and workplaces. Working from a fully equipped van and supported by smart technology, you'll manage your own day, build trusted customer relationships and use your technical skills to keep the nation moving.

• No two days are the same as you use your technical expertise across a wide range of servicing, maintenance and repair work, helping to keep the nation moving.
• Interim, Full and Major vehicle services
• Electrical fittings and Battery replacements
• Vehicle inspections and fault diagnostics
• Tyre fitting, puncture repairs and wheel balancing
• Air conditioning servicing and re-gassing

• NVQ level 2 or level 3 in vehicle maintenance & repair (or time-served experience)
• Proven experience in a vehicle servicing & maintenance role
• A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
• Great communication skills and confidence dealing with customers
