Event Installation Operative
£13.00 - £14.00 per hour

We are recruiting for a hands on Event Installation Operative to join a specialist team based in Pershore.
This is a varied role working on the installation and dismantling of pop up bars and event equipment at venues across the UK. You’ll work as part of a small team, typically 2 - 4 people, travelling to events or building the bars on site, connecting the equipment and then dismantling everything once the event has finished.
No formal trade qualification is required. We’re looking for someone practical, reliable and mechanically minded who is confident using hand and power tools and is happy with physical work.
The role would suit someone from a background in assembly, production, construction, labouring, fitting, maintenance, shop fitting, vehicle fitting or similar.
Duties will include:
Building and installing pop up bars and event equipment
Using hand and power tools
Connecting bar equipment, including basic pipework for beer systems
Dismantling equipment after events
Loading and unloading equipment
Working as part of a small installation team
General manual handling, including some heavy lifting
What we’re looking for:
A practical, hands-on approach
Confident using basic hand and power tools
Mechanically minded
Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting
Reliable and able to work well within a team
Flexible regarding working hours and UK travel
Full UK driving licence essential (manual)
Previous fitting, assembly, construction, maintenance or installation experience would be useful but is not essential
Plumbing, electrical or mechanical experience would be advantageous but is not required
Working arrangements
Due to the nature of the events industry, working hours will vary. Early starts are common and some late finishes will be required depending on travel and event schedules. Weekend work will also form part of the role.
