Mannok Build Ltd is recruiting an experienced HGV Diesel Mechanic to join our busy Garage team based in Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanic who takes pride in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles and wants to build a successful career to join our team.
Our specialist teams manage more than 200 commercial vehicles and specialist assets. We continue to invest in our maintenance solutions ensuring we’re well placed to support onsite support for vehicle fleet repairs and trailers.
You will be responsible for maintaining the Company fleet of HGVs (Trailers and Trucks) efficiently ensuring minimal downtime in the fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair HGVs and commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
- Carry out routine inspections and safety checks.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Assist with breakdowns and vehicle fault diagnosis when required.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as an HGV/Diesel Mechanic executing maintenance and repair.
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
- A strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail.
- Ablility to work independently and as part of a team.
