Salary:£36,800 rising to £39,847 after training

Early Shift: Monday to Thursday6 - 2:15pm Friday 6 - 11:30am Late Shift: Monday to Thursday 2pm - 10:15pm, Friday 11:30 - 5:00pm

We are currently seeking

Mechanical Fitter'sto join a team at Doncaster This is a hands‑on role focused on carrying outfitting, overhauls and associated mechanical repairson rail vehicles.

• Carry out mandatory servicing and mechanical repairs on rail vehicle systems and components.
• Understand and work effectively with vehicle mechanical interfaces.
• Install, maintain and repair heavy mechanical components
• Carry out mechanical stripping down, re-fitting and repair work to rail vehicles.

• Proven experience in a mechanical fitting, maintenance or overhaul environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and component repair.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Commitment to safe working practices.

• Previous experience within therail, automotive, plant or transferable heavy engineering industry.
• Experience working on large sub‑assembly overhaul activities.
• NVQ Level 2/3
