Location: Conon Bridge
A M Phillip Trucktech is looking for an IVECO ANS Technician / Mechanic to join its commercial vehicle team in Conon Bridge. This position would suit an experienced technician or a car mechanic looking to develop their skills in commercial vehicle repairs and roadside breakdown assistance.
The Role- Carry out emergency repairs on commercial vehicles through IVECO’s Assistance Non Stop (ANS) breakdown service.
- Work on IVECO vehicles and other makes of commercial vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs.
- Work alongside the service team to maintain and repair customer vehicles.
- Carry out fault finding and diagnostics as directed.
- Maintain workshop equipment to a high standard.
- Identify and report opportunities to improve vehicle reliability and reduce costs.
- Complete other reasonable tasks as required.
- Follow health and safety procedures while carrying out maintenance and repair work.
The role supports IVECO’s Assistance Non Stop roadside breakdown service, which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. A flexible approach to working hours is required.
What We Are Looking For- Good technical knowledge and practical mechanical repair skills.
- Experience in commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Car technicians looking to move into commercial vehicles are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to organise workloads and work independently.
- Confidence working to deadlines.
- A flexible approach to working hours.
- Understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Current full driving licence.
- Computer skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
- Applicants must be resident in the UK and have the right to work.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
