Mechanical Mate
Responsibilities
* Assist mechanical engineers and pipe fitters with mechanical installation works in accordance with project specifications and drawings.
* Support the installation of mechanical services, including pipework, plant equipment and associated systems.
* Assist with measuring, marking out and installing pipework clips, brackets and supports.
* Use power tools safely and effectively to carry out mechanical installation tasks.
* Assist with the preparation, handling and installation of materials and equipment.
* Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers and other trades to ensure efficient project delivery.
Experience and Qualifications
* Valid CSCS Card.
* Previous experience working as a Mechanical Mate or within mechanical installation projects.
* Experience using power tools, including drills and impact drivers.
* Experience installing pipework clips, brackets and supports.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
