Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT)
Location:
Ukiah, CA
Starting Salary: $84,811 - $122,937 annually (including 30% geo modifier)
IA Stipend: $2,080
Sign‑On Bonus: $12,500
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and report status to lead technician.
- Manage inventory, update tracking log, request replacements, and document expenditures.
- Document service paperwork and FAA information, adhere to policies and information security standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean working environment for maintenance team and flight crew.
- Use appropriate communication methods for coordination among departments, vendors and team members.
- Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and operations team.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years turbine‑powered helicopter experience.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Experience with EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, support and planning.
- Availability for flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations.
- Acceptance of FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
- Ability to push or pull over 100 lbs.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
- EC135 maintenance experience.
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
- Experience under CFR Parts 91, 135, and 145.
- Autopilot maintenance experience.
- Avionics and electrical repair experience.
