** JOB SUMMARY
** The Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, compliance, and quality assurance of residential services within the) program. This position provides strategic and operational oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services that promote the health, safety, independence, and quality of life of the individuals served. The Program Director supervises management and direct care staff, oversees regulatory compliance, manages budgets and staffing resources, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders, and ensures program operations are consistent with DDS, Title 17, Title 22, and organizational standards.
** ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
** 1. Direct and oversee all aspects of program operations.
2. Ensure services are delivered in accordance with EBSH requirements, DDS regulations, and licensing standards.
3. Establish program goals, objectives, and performance measures.
4. Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism, and person-centered practices.
5. Ensure the program maintains a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment.
6. Supervise Lead DSPs, LPTs, and direct support staff.
7. Recruit, hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff.
8. Ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage.
9. Develop staff competencies and leadership skills.
10. Address employee performance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
11. Direct and oversee all aspects of program operations.
12. Establish program goals, objectives, and performance measures.
13. Ensure implementation of Individual Program Plans (IPPs), Individual Behavior Support Plans (IBSPs), and health care plans.
14. Monitor service quality and resident outcomes.
15. Ensure residents' rights, dignity, and personal choices are respected.
16. Address resident concerns, incidents, and service needs.
17. Support interdisciplinary team recommendations and treatment plans.
18. Ensure compliance with Title 17, Title 22, DDS, Community Care Licensing, requirements.
19. Oversee internal audits and quality assurance initiatives.
20. Monitor documentation, resident records, and medication systems for compliance.
21. Review incidents, injuries, behavioral events, and medication errors.
22. Ensure timely reporting and investigation of unusual incidents.
23. Implement risk reduction strategies.
24. Monitor health and safety concerns and emergency preparedness activities.
25. Ensure all programs, facilities, records, and operational systems remain audit-ready at all times through continuous monitoring, compliance reviews, quality assurance activities, and corrective action planning.

32. Maintain regular communication with Regional Directors and Supervisors regarding program operations, staffing needs, resident concerns, compliance matters, and emerging risks.
33. Escalate significant program, personnel, clinical, and operational issues to Regional Directors
